Osiyo. I think you are very attractive-your eyes are amazing, and I’m almost embarrassed to say that. Must be the native american thing, (I’m Cherokee), but you are an excellent actor and this door closing is only another one opening. You don’t deserve what happened, but there is something greater in store for you.
The sea is so cleansing, perpetual and constant.but ever changing, much like life. Hang in and hang on to that humor. That is the most essential positive thing in life! It will all come around. Best of luck on the new series!
Still can’t believe you’re gone! You played Nikolas Cassadine like nobody else could. I have a feeling you’ll be back. GH can’t get rid of all of the Cassadine’s, and I certainly hope they try not to factor out all of the originals and push more of the younger generation into the limelight. I turned to OLTL one day, a Soap I use to watch and didn’t recognize any of them, they were all teenagers….???

I just found out that you were born on Nov. 11, 1972, in Joliet, Illinois. I was born on Nov. 18, 1975, in Decatur, Illinois. We Scorpios rock! Lol
I was wondering, how long did you live in Joliet? I visited Joliet quite a few times when I was a teenager and going into my early 20′s when I was in a singing and dancing group named The Decatur Young Park Singers and The Decatur Park Singers.
I’m hoping someday when you’re not busy, you’ll read this and maybe we could chat about random things, i.e.- if you even know where Decatur’s located in Illinois, etc.

Wow Tyler I am so sorry I won’t be seeing u on GH I always wished they gave u more air time I hope u let us all know what u will be doing.
Tyler, I’m very sorry to hear your bad luck too and I hope since it’s been that long that you have recovered from your loses. OMG, I just got the news that Nikolas Cassadine will no longer be on GH. I have not broken the news to my mother nor my best friend yet. They are going to be just sooo disappointed. You know seriously, I think I will cancel soapnet and save money. The show just will not be as valuable to me now with you gone. I’ve gone through great lengths over the years to watch every episode and I have missed very few. You were my absolute favorite actor on that show since you started. I used to love Luke but I turned against him for how he treated you in those early days. The same with my best friend and my mother. We love you and have to have you and it’s not going to be the same without you. I’m upset about this. I feel like their ratings are going to bottom out without you in the show and they will ask you to come back. How ever it turns out, I wish you the best of everything and I will really miss you. I have been a fan of yours for the last 15 years and it was very heart breaking to hear you were leaving GH. But please tell me that when I read an interview with Garin Wolf that he would be bringing you back at the end of July my eyes were not fooling me. I am sure that is what he said or maybe I was just wishing. I wish you the best and after everything that has been going on in your life lately it can only make you stronger and better. Will be looking forward to your blogs everyday.
wow I had not realized u have lost so much , and even though we will probably never met I thank you for the work u have done on GH as well as sharing with us all on here as u go threw this phase in your life . I think there are better things coming your way would love to see you on a prime time show as a steady actor like Justified , NCIS etc I think you have the ability to go far . I have a question though do actors get to apply for unemployment? Hope so trying to get a job now days for a normal person is hard enough can only imagine what it would be like to be a actor and trying . You have a dedicated fan base and while that wont buy you a cup of coffee at Star bucks we can support you at Mc D’s lol . Look forward to following to see where the next phase takes you
Mr. Ty Christopher, we humbly ask that you take a bow (the applause is deafening!)your fans would like to thank you for your 15 year contribution to our beloved GH. Your final scenes were heartwrenching, and this fan was literally sobbing for what was & what could have been. To put it bluntly, you kicked some serious ass dude. In an era where daytime storylines & performances are being thrown around like life preservers, you reminded us what a GREAT performance is comprised of. It includes history, emotion & connection to the character. You are a class act Ty Christopher, and when all is said & done your talent as an actor & human being truly shines through. MWAH!!

I appreciate your insights. I lost my job, was accused of of a theft that I did not commit,had my mother die in my arms, and my dog died……All of this in a few months time.
Will be missing you but can’t wait to see what your future holds-Watched you twice a day every day when I was pregnant and named my baby Tyler Christopher when I was certain it was going to be a boy…but when a bouncing baby girl came along, we tweaked it a bit, and we still consider you to be Taylor’s namesake.
She loves to watch your work everyday,too-we are laughing together reading your blog. We’ll be reading often!
Wow!!! I can not even express how sad I feel. To tell you the truth I am not a fan of any of these show that come out in the daytime. One day my friend introduced me to General Hospital during our lunch break. I was very bored. Then one day you appeared. I was so impressed with your character. From that point on I was hooked just to see Nikolas Cassadine. I went on youtbe and wikipedia to catch up on your character. I can’t believe you will be gone. I am not even sure if I will continue to watch it. And that is my truth =(
WTF is going on at ABC? Are they really trying to run us all off? We will miss you terribly, this is just wrong!

I had the pleasure of meeting you a couple of years ago in Mississippi after Hurricane Katrina. I just wanted to say thank you for taking time our of your life to come down and make my day! We drove from Pensacola, FL just to meet you. It was one of the best days I have ever had, even though it was over 90 degrees outside. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for caring about us on the Gulf Coast. I know you are going through some challenges right now and just know that there are those who are praying for you and your family.

I have watched GH since I was about 10yrs old. I am now nearly 40. It saddens me to watch the utterly unexplainable decisions made over the years. To rip core families apart and replace them with random characters with no history or staying power is ridiculous. I fear that the network now has it’s sights set on destroying it’s only remaining soap. Truly a sad state, especially in conjunction with your other recent losses. Focus on what is truly important in life. The rest will take car of itself.
i read on the face book fan age for GH its got a year to get it together so I guess the upside to this is at least Ty has a jump start on a new job before the rest of the cast starts to look =)
Love that you still have a sense of humor! The sign of a strong man! I too have had many life changing things happen to me over the last 8 months. I think having a positive attitude and being able to laugh at my life has helped me and I am sure will help you get through the not so good days!
Sorry to hear about your recent troubles Tyler. Glad it hasn’t robbed you of your good humor. I totally agree about being on a cellphone while the sun rises also!?
I’m a huge fan of your character on GH, but I will watch whatever show you are on……faithfully…….your other fans feel the same way. So, stay strong. Thank you for this blog, it’s interesting to get a little peak into another person’s world.
I have been a 30 year fan of GH, thus the reason I am following your blog. I think this ride is going to be infinately better written than anything you have been given by GH in the last little bit. I am truly sorry for all of your recent life challenges, thank goodness you did not loose your sense of humour! So chin up, heart open & pride in check . . . the best is yet to come . . . because truly anything that does not kill you, only makes you stronger!! OK how many clichés was that ;o)
