Third Role For Tyler
Tyler Christopher, who already is doing double duty as GENERAL HOSPITAL's Nikolas and Connor, soon will be tackling a third TV role.
Here's the scoop! The In Depth Story:
No sooner did Christopher debut as GH's Connor than he got the news that he has been cast in INTO THE WEST, a new miniseries from Steven Spielberg, who previously directed GH-er Steve Burton (Jason) in the miniseries TAKEN.
In the six-part, 12-hour TNT series about the opening of the American West, Christopher plays a half-Lakota India/half-Caucasion who is recruited by the U.S.Cavalry. To be shot in Canada and New Mexico (magazine had it incorrectly as Mexico), INTO THE WEST will require Christopher's full-time commitment during the month of January; insiders say that GH execs have been supportive and are working hard to accommodate his absence. Then, from February through May, the actor will shuttle back and forth between the WEST location shoot and GH.
