Christopher's primetime part is a go again
No pretending -- Christopher's primetime part is a go again. Not long after Tyler Christopher left behind his GENERAL HOSPITAL alter ego of Nikolas, he landed the plum part of Michael T. Weiss' long-lost kid brother on NBC's THE PRETENDER -- only to be disappointed when his debut turned out to be the series finale! Well, now he's getting a second shot at the role. Here's why!
The In Depth Story: In conjuction with 20th Century Television, TNT is producing two new installments of the show and has "brought back the original cast and creative crew," says spokesperson Walter Ward. And Christopher definitely will appear in the first episode -- a two-hour prequel to the finale."
[My character] has a sixth sense," he told Soaps in Depth after he was originally hired. "He doesn't have a good perception of reality, and has trouble interacting with people."Speaking of interacting.. unfortunately for GH fans, although Christopher is on board, fellow former PC denizen Lisa Cerasoli (ex-V.) -- who had a recurring role as Weiss' love interest -- will not be appearing in the specials (the second one of which will be a sequel to the series finale).TNT plans to air the specials early next year.
