Congratulations to Tyler Christopher - Outstanding Lead Actor

Tyler was voted GH's 2008 Outstanding Lead Actor by the General Hospital fans. Tyler accepted his award during the General Hospital Fan Club Luncheon.
And it didn't end there. Tyler also won for Favorite Official Website AND Favorite Official Offline Fan Club.
In other words, Tyler made a clean sweep!

Tyler is asking his fans to help families in need by donating food, clothing and personal items.
This drive was inspired by Jill Farren Phelps, GH Executive Producer, to help families in need during this trying times due to the economy.
If you have some spare items (new items only) you could donate, please box them up and send them to Tyler:

Items to send could include but not limited to:
**Non-perishable food items such as canned goods, pasta, cooking items, etc.
**Children items such as diapers, baby food (check expiration dates), clothing, toys, lotion, etc.
**Personal items such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, towels, etc.
Use your personal discretion in thinking of what a family might need -- is it non-perishable - can it be sent in the mail.
Tyler will also have a donation box at his yearly fundraiser on July 13, 2008 during the GH Fan Club Weekend.

VIEWERS HAVE A CHANCE TO TELL THEIR DAYTIME EXPERIENCE ON THE 35TH ANNUAL DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS
Calling all fans: We want to hear your stories!
New York, NY – May 1, 2008- Daytime stars and industry professionals won't be the only ones in the spotlight at “The 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards,” broadcast live on ABC from the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles, on June 20, 2008. "The Daytime Experience" is a new feature in them broadcast giving daytime fans the chance to share stories about how a television show, soap star, talk show host or character has touched their lives. Fans can visit www.ABC.com/daytime or www.SoapNet.com to fill out a simple form, and submit their stories about the life-changing effects of daytime television. Select viewers will get the chance to tell how these programs influence and inspire them, and have their stories aired during the live broadcast.
The producers are looking for stories that involve all daytime programming, stars, subjects, or hosts. Daytime programming includes children's shows, soap operas, talk shows, judge shows, and lifestyle shows, from cable and the broadcast networks, that reach millions of households each day. The Daytime Emmy Awards recognize outstanding achievement in all fields of daytime television production and are presented to individuals and programs broadcast from 2:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. during the 2007 calendar year.
"The 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards" is a presentation of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in cooperation with the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. "The 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards" will be produced by White Cherry Entertainment for the ABC Television Network LIVE, FRIDAY, JUNE 20 (8:00 p.m.,ET), from Hollywood's Kodak Theatre.
